The migration to the new softer will be happening this Thursday at around 2pm GMT. All accounts will have to be migrated to the new system, but it should be a more reliable method for storing your login details and your rosters.

UPDATE: This is likely to happen mid week next week (around 23rd). We have been testing the new server software (ejabberd) as well as updated transports (AIM/ICQ/Yahoo/MSN) for a while now and have worked out the process for migrating your accounts to the new software. Jabber service crash

The jabber.org.uk Jabber daemon died over the weekend as the partition was filled. It’s been restarted and should have plenty of disk space to run as usual.
