Having tested Ejabberd 2.1 I expect to be migrating over to this at some point in the near future. Service stability: I’ve been having some issues with the stability of the server, this seems to be down to the connection between ejabberd and the database server (were user accounts are kept). The Jabber server was down for a prolonged period due to the daemon crashing. This wasn’t caught and restarted automatically and I was absent from the internet until just now. It is up once again and I’ll be trying to make sure such a thing is caught next time.
We experienced some DNS issues this morning which meant that users were unable to contact other off-site Jabber/XMPP contacts. This has now been resolved and should be working.
