What this means is that if the server sees a lot of new connections from an IP address it will not ignore any further connections for five minutes

I’ve had to implement this as the server has received a lot of failed connections from clients which are old and not compatible. Rather than failing they are stuck in a loop trying to reconnect. This is wasting bandwidth and processing time.

If you are having problems please update your client to a recent one which supports the latest encryption. If you still can not log in make sure you are able to log in to your account settings. If you are still having problems make sure no one you share your IP address with has an old client too.
