Service upgrade finished

The service upgrade has finished. The server is now working as expected as far as I can tell. If you are experiencing problems please click on the post title to read more.

If you are having problems logging in make sure your client is up to date and reasonable recent. I have disabled old versions of the SSL encryption and the ciphers used to increase the security of the connections. This has lead to a lot of “Client disconnected: no shared cipher” messages.

The reset password & account registration links are temporarily removed. The new server has a different system and the new registration/reset password forms should be up soon. They should also be more friendly on mobile devices.

The AIM Transport has been turned off as it requires an updated version and none seems to exist. You are able to register your AIM account through the ICQ transport if you’re not already using it.

I will be lurking on the JabberUK conference room for a bit if you have any questions.

Please also check the previous post for additional info.
