You can register an account on our XMPP server. This is the only way to register an account and an email address is required to register.
IRC & Yahoo Updated
The IRC and Yahoo! transports have been updated and seem now to be more reliable.
Downtime
The jabber.org.uk service was down for a period this morning as the co-location centre lost power (and their backup didn’t back it up).
Web Ports – Updated

Server switchover – Updated
The new Server switchover will probably happen tomorrow afternoon/evening (Wed 3rd). This will obviously result in an interruption of the service during the switch over. Weekend service problems
We experienced problems over the weekend with the server. The Jabber service was restarted a few times, and the whole server was rebooted this morning. It now appears to be running happily.
