As of August 15th it will be six months since we migrated to ejabberd. On or after the 16th we will be opening up the jabber.org.uk domain for new registrations and you will no longer be able to migrate pre-ejabberd accounts. This jabber service will have to be restarted shortly to upgrade SSL keys as per Debian Security Advisory 1571 . Update: Key has been updated and everything is back running again.
The Jabber service decided to enter some limbo state this morning and so I restarted it. I had a couple of reports of port 443 (SSL) not working and so restarted that also. All should be working once again.
The jabber daemon crashed a little while ago and has been restarted along with all the transports.
