Consider using one of the site monitoring services on the Internet to check port 5222/443 to see if it’s alive.

Many of them are free and can send alerts to your mobile phone.

The patched MSN transport seems quite happy and is using considerably less bandwidth thankfully.

Hopefully the patched version fixes this. Please let us know how it’s going as many will be affected if you’re forced to disable this transport.

Looks like this is resolved now. My previous issues with google and jabber.org.uk domains have now gone. Thanks for the speedy fix.

Nothing fundamental. I had to restart the ICQ transport a couple of days ago, but nothing big.
